Required hours and a deadline.
A volunteer’s record holds their court-appointed requirement and its deadline. You can ask a court-hours question at sign-up.
Photo and location proof.
At sign in, the volunteer sends an on-site photo, then a location pin from Messages, or texts “skip”. At sign out, they send a photo of the finished work, then an optional pin.
Hours run from sign-in to sign-out and are set when the sign-out photo arrives.

Unreviewed signups count as attended the next day, but court-appointed hours do not. They still need a coordinator to confirm them.
An hours report they can send on.
Volunteers email themselves an hours report for any date range: every session with its date, event, sign-in and sign-out times, hours and status. Ready to forward to a court.
Progress the volunteer can see.
The volunteer portal shows their progress toward their required hours.
